SUSO-NC: A Home for Healing

SUSO-NC: A Home for Healing

Stand Up Speak Out of NC advocates to decrease sexual assault and domestic violence through outreach & prevention, counseling, resilience coaching, and mentoring.

Unfortunately, the building we lease will be permanently closing, and SUSO-NC must move out by the end of July. We need a new home for programs/services that are welcoming, safe, and nurturing for healing.

SUSO-NC provides outreach programs to youth, domestic violence survivors, and mental health counseling to youth and families utilizing a holistic and therapeutic art approach. We are the only organization focused on working with youth who have witnessed or experienced sexual trauma or domestic violence. We believe in creating safe, art-based healing spaces for youth and families to process their trauma and gain skills to support their healing journey. We know how vital these services are and how important it is for SUSO to have a safe space for healing programs.
We must move from our current location by July 30th and need your support to continue offering healing spaces for Durham and Wake County youth and families.
